Kevin Nathaniel Colbert Memorial Scholarship

Since the passing of Kevin on 9/11/01, his family has started a scholarship fund to keep his memory alive and to help prospective college students/ athletes reach their potential. Kevin always dreamed of being a student/ athlete in college, but never fulfilled his dream due to his untimely demise.  Hopefully, this fund will help many fulfill their dreams..

In 2001, the first recipient of this scholarship was Chris Manders.  Chris attends Gettysburg College and is a member of the Gettysburg Bullets Football Team.  Here, Chris is seen in uniform with his parents George and Mary Ann.

In 2002, the scholarship was given to two lucky recipients.

In 2005, our scholarship has once again expanded to help 3 young gentlemen.  Brendan Ainbinder won first prize ($5000), Dave Contreras finished 2nd ($3000), and Brandon Tait received a healthy $2000.
